AKSH OPTIFIBRE LIMITED is a three decade old company which started manufacturing of optical fibre and optical fibre cables (OFC) in 1994. In the year 2000 Aksh acquired Fibre Reinforced Plastic Rods (FRP) business which is a key raw material for Optical Fibre Cables. AKSH went Public in the year 2000 and is listed on National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE)

Aksh Edge

The two key raw materials, optical fibre and FRP rod, constituting 70% of cost of optical fibre cables are manufactured in-house. This makes Aksh as one of the most cost effective optical fibre cable manufacturer. Also, Aksh is now the largest FRP rod producer, supplying to all optical fibre cable manufacturers in 56 countries across six continents.

All the manufacturing facilities are ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified. Aksh specialize in manufacturing of various optical fibre cables like aerial, duct, armoured, indoor and outdoor FTTH drop cables meeting all the International ITU-T standards.

Bhutan Project

Aksh Optifibre Limited has been awarded "Turnkey Liveline Installation of 2600 Km of All Dielectric Self Supporting (ADSS) optical fibre cable by Bhutan Power Corporation Limited(BPCL). ADSS Project Phase I for connecting all District headquarters & 131 Gewogs (Group of Villages) is completed. On this successful completion, Government of Bhutan awarded Package II (ADSS project Phase II) in 2012 under National Broadband Master Plan to connect remaining 74 Gewogs of Bhutan to achieve the 100% connectivity to all parts of the country. This project will be completed by March 2014.

AOL FZE

Incorporated in the year 2010 in SAIF zone Jafza Jebel Ali UAE, the entity houses Aksh's second largest state of the art FRP manufacturing facility outside India. The entity is being setup to cater to the rapidly growing global demand for FRP rods, served through the tax free and export friendly free trade zone in Jebel Ali, Sharjah UAE.

Aksh Technologies (Mauritius) Limited

Incorporated in 2017, ATML is a wholly owned subsidiary of Aksh Optifibre Limited, is not only manufacturing optical fibre cables in Mauritius but also marketing the same domestically & globally. With this business entity, the group is geared up to furnish cutting-edge technology, proficient consultancy and engineering expertise in the domain of digital / telecommunications world.

Incorporated in 2017, this is stepdown subsidiary of AOL FZE Dubai. This entity houses the state of the art FRP rod manufacturing facility in the province of Jiangsu China. Keeping in mind the robust Chinese demand for OFC, strategically locating our FRP Rod manufacturing unit in the most industrial city of Jiangsu China augurs well as a strategy to serve our Chinese customers for our FRP Rods.

Aksh was founded in 1986 with major focus on manufacturing of Optical Fibre Cables. The portfolio later got reinforced with the addition of Optical Fibers & Fiber Reinforced Plastic Rods. Our products form the core of intranet, internet and other communication network all around the world. Manufacturing being the core business, Aksh remained in well aligned with the latest market trends and started commissioning of detailed distribution networks, Fiber To Home & Turnkey projects for data communication.

AKSH has been innovative with its cable designs and manufactures a wide array of Optical Fiber Cables that include Single Mode & Multimode Cables, Duct Cables, Armoured, FTTH (Aerial installations & fibre to home) Cables, Indoor & Outdoor Cables and Special application cables (Hybrid, All purpose, Ceramic Armoured cables).

A step towards strategic backward integration, Aksh acquired Telecords (I) Pvt. Ltd. for the manufacturing of Fibre Reinforced Plastic (FRP) rods. AKSH holds a reputation of being the pioneer in manufacturing of raw materials for optical fibre cables and is globally renowned for high quality FRP (Fibre reinforced plastic) Rods , ARP (Aramid reinforced plastic) rods and WS yarn (water blocking yarn) that gives the best reinforcement and strength to Optical Fibre Cables. Our list of esteemed clients includes top 10 Optical Fibre Cable manufacturing Companies. In 2002, AKSH started its 1st Fibre to the Home (FTTH) in Jaipur and later collaborated with MTNL & BSNL in Jan 2010 to launch its 1st FTTH project in Jaipur. Similar projects are started in Delhi and Mumbai in collaboration with MTNL and in Ajmer, Faridabad and Gurgaon in collaboration with BSNL, enabling the customer enjoy dream internet bandwidth with a variety of other services without interruptions. Now, speed of Internet up to 100 Mbps, Multiple IPTV connections, VoIP based Telephone services can be realized by the use of optical fibres. Our mission is to provide total network connectivity solutions from end to end- from the server to the user's workstation or within any premise and campus environment from the home, office, data centre, and factory floor.

Dr. Kailash S. Choudhari (Non Executive Chairman)

Dr. Kailash S. Choudhari, Key founding member of Aksh Optifibre Ltd. He is responsible for spearheading the Company to its current levels of success. His strategic leadership ensures company's future relevance, credibility, and viability. His timely strategic initiatives has lead the company to remarkable performance in a short timespan. He also brings with him more than three decades experience of enabling mobility and future technologies.

Mr. Satyendra Gupta (Non-Executive Director)

Mr. Satyendra Kumar Gupta, aged 65 years, Chartered Accountant, has over 41 years of extensive experience in finance, accounts, taxation, legal, secretarial function and handling the business segment of the organization.. Mr Gupta has been involved in fund raising both at the domestic and international levels, and has successfully worked on several company mergers and demergers.

Mr. Harvinder Singh (Independent Director)

Mr. Harvinder Singh is a Post Graduate in Commerce and also qualified Law Graduate from Delhi University. He is an experienced Banker of practical exposure in entire gamut of Banking. He has adored the position as a Director on the Board of Bank of India for approx. 6 years. He is Professional Director on the Board of Ramgarhia Co-operative Bank Ltd. and also Director of two reputed NGOs. He is currently working as an Independent Legal Advisor an empanelled Advocated on Various Nationalised Banks and Indian and International Corporates.

Mr. Sunil Puri (Independent Director)

Mr. Sunil Puri is qualified B. Tech (Mechanical) with Honors from AMU. He has also worked for over years in Procurement-SCM function of different Companies out of which he was head of ProCUrement SCM function for 20 years. He is currently providing Consulting Services to various clients.

Ms. Anuja Bansal (Independent Director)

Ms. Anuja Bansal, is a qualified law graduate (LLB) and Company Secretary. She has also mastered in Economics and also serve as Registered Valuer (Securities and Financial Assets) under Insolvency & Bankruptcy Board of India. She has rich experience in Legal, Secretarial and Corporate Law Advisory Services.

Mr. Sanjay Katyal (Independent Director)

Mr. Sanjay Katyal, is Mechanical Engineer with Hons Degree from, AMU Aligarh,1985 Batch. He is a Charted Engineer and did various certifications in financial and capital market affiliations with NSE, ATMA, AIMA, IRDA, NAREDCO. He is presently a Financial and Capital Market Consultant and having an overall experience of over 353Xars in engineering & Constructions Industry and capital market, out of which 20 years of running own engineering industry of manufacturing industrial air pollution control and chemical process equipment.

Historical Perspective - Ladder of Achievement and Growth

1986

AKSH OPTIFIBRE LIMITED started as an optical fibre and optical fibre cables (OFC) manufacturing company in 1986.

1994

Aksh transformed into a public limited company and diversified into the manufacturing of Optic Fibre Cables (OFC) by setting up a plant at Bhiwadi.

1995

The company did backward integration by manufacturing of Optical fibre with initial capacity of 0.15 million FKM. In the same year, the company launched its first IT Park project MVL iPark in Gurgaon.

2000

Aksh got listed in BSE, NSE and JSEwith total issue size of $6 million. Aksh also merged Telecords (India) Private Limited, a manufacture of FRP rods, with Plant at JaitPura (Plant IV). The company also did backward integration by manufacturing of FRP.

2003

Aksh added capability to manufacture Ribbon cable and special accessible cable FTTH.

2006

The subsequent years saw consistent increase of capacity and addition of new products (FTTH, Ribbon Cable) to portfolio and in 2006, Aksh launched IPTV services (iControl) in 20 cities of India in partnership with MTNL.

2009

Aksh became a member of the World FTTH Council and ISO 9001:2008 was renewed by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL). Moreover, Aksh was awarded 2nd place for Best Telecom Equipment Manufacturer Award under the category of Optical Fibre Cable by BSNL - CGM (QA) Bangalore.

2010

Aksh received ISO 14001:2004 accreditation by URS. Aksh acquired AOL FZE, Dubai as its wholly owned subsidiary.

2013

Aksh successfully completed Bhutan OFC turnkey project of 1200Kms.

2014

AOL FZE commissioned a 0.4 million Kms of FRP Rods manufacturing facility unit at Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) at Dubai, along with being awarded 5S Excellence, WindIPP awards. 1 stop Aksh Expansion of Emitra services in Rajasthan takes place.

2015

Aksh was elevated to the level of 2 Star Export House from 1 Star. 1 stop Aksh opens 8000 Kiosks

2016

Capacity expansion in Optical Fibre by 100 %, Optical Fibre cable by 50% and Fibre Reinforced Plastic by 200 %. 1 Stop Aksh opens 10000 Kiosks
